Chhandak Pradhan is an interdisciplinary designer and educator based between Switzerland and India using data, words, audio, photography, video, graphics, algorithms, and spaces as well as diverse materials to create objects, interactions, and experience.

Chhandak Pradhan [b. 1985] is an interdisciplinary designer and educator based between Switzerland and India. Driven by design, spatial thinking, journalism, material research, and technology his process-oriented practice seamlessly combines traditional visual communication with new media, creative coding, and interactive visualisation to devise communication strategies that defy easy categorisation. A co-creation enthusiast, his frequent collaborations with academics, artisans, coders, and other experts result in enhanced engagement with content and context. Living somewhere at the confluence of design, research, technology, and art, Chhandak’s personal work draws on critical thinking, discursive design, new aesthetics, generative art, and post-digital craftsmanship. Chhandak uses data, words, audio, photographs, video, graphics, illustrations, electronics, algorithms, interactions, spaces, and diverse materials to create objects, experience, and speculations that trace entanglements, question assumptions, and reveal the unseen.
